ipython3-qtconsole software package provides enhanced interactive Python 3 shell - Qt console, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ipython3-qtconsole
ipython3-qtconsole is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ipython3-qtconsole package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipython3-qtconsole *
You will get with ipython3-qtconsole package name, version, architecture and description in a table
